April 9 Special Election Runoff

On Tuesday, April 9, a handful of voters will head to the polls to cast ballots in a runoff from the March 12 primary.

Voters in Douglas County will be deciding who will fill the vacancy for the District 2 County Commissioner seat. It comes after the top two vote-getters -- Whitney Kenner Jones and Kelton Hill -- failed to win the necessary 50% plus one vote threshold to win the primary race outright. Jones led Hill 37% to 21% at the end of the March 12 election, with less than 400 votes separating the two.

11Alive will be keeping track of the latest results all throughout the evening on election night. Keep track of live election results below.

Results updated every 2 minutes or less (some races may update less frequently).
