Authorities are reporting several injuries after a van crashed into a southeast Georgia restaurant Friday evening.
WSAV's Meredith Stutz reports that the call came in around 7 p.m. that a van had run into the side of a Savannah, Georgia Outback Steakhouse on Abercorn Street.
Initial reports suggest that the driver ran a stop sign and ran into the building, damaging a gas line and causing a partial ceiling collapse.
In the moment, Stutz claims that two were burned, possibly by cooking grease and another suffered a broken arm. A pregnant woman also sustained injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
The driver responsible for the crash is believed to have only minor injuries.
