DEKALB, CO. -- Something went very wrong at a house party early Sunday morning in DeKalb County.
Police told 11Alive that one person was shot and killed at that party at 2383 Clifton Manor Springs.
Dekalb Police Sgt. Sabrena Dorsey said police responded to a call at the home around 4 a.m. and found a man dead, lying in the front yard.
Investigators have taken one person into custody, but, at this point, police still don't know what led up to the shooting.
"I don’t believe this is a random incident," Dorsey said.
The victim's name hasn't been released and no charges have been filed yet.
Investigators detained several party-goers for questioning.
