GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Police say a man accused of stabbing family members in Gwinnett County, Wednesday, has been taken into custody.
According to Gwinnett County police, it happened at 2010 Spring End Court outside of Lawrenceville. Police identified the attacker as 17-year-old Maximilano Cardenas Garcia..
He allegedly attacked his brother and father with an unknown sharp object and fled on foot before later being caught by police. The search for the suspect was initially focused in the area of Spring End Court and Plantation Boulevard.
Police say the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. The injuries are not considered life-threatening. Anyone with more information about the crime should call Gwinnett police at 770-513-5000.
