A woman was arrested for allegedly shooting her husband to death inside their Kingston home.
Sheriff Clark Millsap said just before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies and investigators responded to Norton Road after receiving a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found the body of James "Sam" McCoy, 83, inside the home with a single gunshot wound.
Investigators questioned his wife, Kim McCoy, 58, and later arrested her for his murder.
Kim McCoy is being held without bond in the Bartow County Jail.
Sheriff Millsap said it is possible that she could face more charges in this case, however at this point it is still under investigation.
