The Olympic Athletes from Russia won their second gold medal of the Olympics.

The men's hockey team beat Germany 4-3 in overtime in the gold medal game on Sunday.

After receiving their medals, the audience-- mostly made up of Russian fans-- took over the anthem.

Since Russia was banned from the games by the IOC after an investigation revealed an alleged state-sponsored doping program, Russian athletes who proved they were clean were eligible to compete under the Olympic flag.

That meant when it was time for the medal ceremony, the Olympic flag was raised as the anthem played. The same thing happened for Alina Zagitova when she won gold for OAR in women's figure skating.

But this medal ceremony was done inside the ice arena. The fans drowned out the Olympic anthem with the singing of their own Russian anthem, and the players followed suit.

The Russian anthem was a little shorter, so they had to stand around for a while until the Olympic anthem ended.

Olympic Athletes from Russia still will have to march in the closing ceremony under the Olympic flag after the IOC denied Russia's reinstatement until after the Games.

But getting to sing their own anthem near the end of the Games, that has to give them some satisfaction.
