'It's too close to home': More than a dozen shots fired at Warner Robins house

Police believe the attack was "targeted."

Police spent nearly 15 hours investigating a shooting, looking for reasons why someone would fire more than a dozen bullets at a home in Warner Robins.

According to Warner Robins Police Department spokesperson Jennifer Parson, police got a "shots fired" call on the 200 block of Diggs Boulevard around 1:18 a.m. Thursday morning.

Mary Alice Redmon was awake across the street when it happened.

"It sounded like [a] big strong guy was just pounding on my wall," said Redmon.

But when officers arrived they found the real cause of the noise: well over a dozen gunshots had been fired into a house on the street.

Parson says that two people were in that home at the time of the shooting and that police believe they were targeted.

However, no one was injured in the attack.

Andy Woodrum lives a few doors down the street and says the shooting has him shaken.

"I was very alarmed... I was very alarmed. It's too close to home," he said.

Police say two men are in custody in relation to the shooting -- 17-year-old Tristen Ezell and 26-year-old Quandre Elliott.

Both are charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and terroristic threats. Parson says more charges are possible.

Glenn Redmon lives across the street from where the shooting happened and says he's frustrated by the violence in Warner Robins.

"A human life is valuable," said Redmon. "These young kids are just, they have no concern over other people's lives and what their families go through...when stuff like this happens."

Parson says the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
