Cobb suspect on the run after tying up, robbing victims at gunpoint

The suspect restrained the two victims inside the home with duct tape.

MARIETTA, Ga. -- Cobb County police are searching for a gunman who held a man and woman at gunpoint before tying them up and stealing their money.

Police said they responded to a panic alarm from a home in the 100 block of Kay Road on May 4.

When officers arrived, they discovered 39-year-old Jesus Garcia and 37-year-old Maria Gonzalez inside bound with duct tape.

Investigators said a suspect approached the man outside in the driveway and forced him inside the home at gunpoint. Once inside, the suspect demanded money and tied up both victims before leaving the home with an undisclosed amount of cash.
