ATLANTA — Police have made an arrest in the shooting death of 17-year old in northwest Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police spokeswoman Officer Stephanie Brown, the shooting happened Thursday in the 3000 block of Delmar Lane NW at 8:08 p.m.
Police say the man was shot in the chest and leg and taken to the hospital, but he later died.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in some type of a dispute with the suspect identified as Tremayne Smith.
Smith has been charged with murder and with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
