Atlanta's Super Bowl needs volunteers | Host committee begins search

The Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee officially began its interview process its team of volunteers on Monday.

Known as Team ATL, the team will include up to 10,000 volunteers to assist in welcoming more than 1 million guests to Atlanta during the 10 days of festivities that will lead up to Super Bowl LIII on Feb. 3, 2019.

The Monday announcement debuted the volunteer interview headquarters where more than 15,0000 in-person interviews will be conducted. The Host Committee will interview around 500 applicants per day from July to August.

As of Monday, over 26,000 people have applied to be part of Team ATL and the interview process will be the committee's chance to get to know each one.

The applicants include representatives from 14 different countries, more than eight different nationalities, and someone from 47 of the 50 states.

The Host Committee is looking for high-energy, excited applicants to serve in various roles including street teams, airport welcome desks, headquarter hotels and Super Bowl LIVE.
