Sketch released of suspect accused in sexual assault of 16-year-old girl

Anyone who has information that could lead to an arrest and indictment in this case could receive a Crime Stoppers reward of up to $2,000.

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police are trying to track down the person who sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl last week.

On Thursday, investigators released a sketch of the suspect who they said should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police were called to a hospital on July 10 to investigate sexual assault allegations. They learned that around 9:15 p.m., an unknown male pushed the victim into a wood line area near the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Drive and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint.

Anyone who has information that could lead to an arrest and indictment in this case could receive a Crime Stoppers reward of up to $2,000.

Police described the suspect to be in his early 20's. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of lips on his neck. The sketch indicates he may also have gold teeth on the bottom. He's about 5 feet or taller.
