A tractor-trailer was split open and its contents spilled over the roadway on Interstate 85 northbound near Hamilton Mill Road has blocked several lanes.
According to 11Alive Traffic Tracker Crash Clark, travel times on northbound I-85 from I-985 to Ga. 211 are reduced as a result of the earlier wreck as well as construction in the area.
The Georgia Department of Transportation says the roadway will be cleared from the wreck by 10 a.m., however, construction delays will remain in the area.
Crash suggests taking Interstate 985 north to Highway 53 to avoid delays on I-85.
