Gwinnett Police searching for white SUV in hit-and-run case that injured man

Gwinnett Police are seeking answers in a hit-and-run that injured a 32-year-old Lawrenceville man.

This happened around 6 a.m. Wednesday. 

According to the incident report, the officer who responded to the scene talked with the victim who said he was crossing North Brown Road in the crosswalk when he was hit by a white SUV that was making a left turn.

A witness told police she saw a white SUV drive over what she thought was a trash bag, but when she got closer to the scene she realized it was a person.

The victim was taken to the hospital.
