BROOKHAVEN, Ga. — Police say a suspect is in custody after a SWAT standoff in Brookhaven.
According to the Brookhaven Police Department social media accounts, they were attempting to serve an arrest warrant when a suspect barricaded himself in a home on Osborne Road and Devine Circle.
Police believed the suspect, who hasn't yet been named, did have weapons. He was wanted for domestic violence, police said.
Those who were in the Lynwood Park area on Osborne Road from Lynwood Drive to Devine Circle were being told to shelter in place as crews worked to bring the man out safely.
