South Carolina murder suspect captured in Gwinnett

Jarvis Jamison was arrested in Gwinnett County in connection with a deadly night club shooting in Pawley's Island, South Carolina.

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. — Authorities in South Carolina say a man wanted in connection with a deadly night club shooting there has been captured in metro Atlanta.

According to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, Jarvis Jamison was taken into custody with help from South Carolina's State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), Gwinnett County Police and the U.S. Marshals.

Authorities said Jamison was wanted on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in relation to a shooting on Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

NBC station WMBF further elaborates that the deadly shooting happened at TC's Lounge on Petigru Drive and that Matthew Cobb Jr. and Tevin Washington - both 28 years old - were killed in the shooting.

A photo shared by the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office shows Jamison in handcuffs surrounded by members of the Gwinnett County Police Department on Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Jamison is awaiting extradition to Georgetown County.
