Meet Nubs | Gwinnett County Animal Welfare's pet of the week

Nubs is available for free adoptions this weekend.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Meet Nubs, a 4-year-old American pit bull mix. He is waiting at Gwinnett County Animal Welfare to find his forever home.

Because he came from another municipality, not much is known about Nubs background, but he does show some physical signs of neglect. Whatever his past, Nubs loves people and will quickly cuddle up and ask for lots of petting. Nubs is a very sweet dog looking for a sweet home.

My Lawrenceville News powered by 11Alive has partnered with the animal shelter to highlight these pets. The adoption fees at the animal welfare center are usually $30 for cats and $45 for dogs, plus a $25 mandatory microchip.

This weekend only, Nubs will be available for free adoption.
