PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Commuters, be warned – a massive sinkhole is causing problems in Peachtree City. One right lane is shut down and more could follow if the sinkhole gets worse, officials said in a Facebook post.
The sinkhole opened up Friday morning as severe storms moved across north Georgia, bringing power outages, flooding and downed power lines.
There is no word on when the road will be repaired and fully reopened.
